Budget Plan Template (Sample)
Purpose: This sample budget plan is provided to help departments prepare their required budget submission for the Self-Supporting Class/Course/Program Application. It serves as a guide only to illustrate the level of detail and information needed.
What the Sample Includes
- Multi-year budget summary (Years 1-5)
- Staff expenses (faculty, support staff, benefits)
- Course and instructional expenses
- Marketing expenses
- Projected student tuition revenue
- Net profit calculation
How to Use this Sample
- Review the sample layout to understand what financial details are expected.
- Create your own budget using the same structure:
- Provide realistic enrollment projections and tuition revenue.
- Include all anticipated expense (instruction, marketing, administrative).
- Show calculations for net revenue or profit for each year.
- Save your completed budget plan as Excel or PDF.
- Attach your file in the Attachment section of the application form.
