Creating Guest Authors With No User Account

When an article is written by a volunteer or guest author, they may not be granted a user account. Instead, the Executive Editor should create a Guest Author With No User Account for them through the Publish Press Authors plugin.

Step by Step Instructions:

Follow these instructions to create the proper type of profile for non-employee authors:

1. Login to the Nevada Sagebrush website admin console (URL changed each semester)
2. Click on the "Authors" tab (https://nevadasagebrush.com/wp-admin/edit-tags.php?taxonomy=author)
3. On the left side of all the authors, click on "Guest Author With No User Account"
4. Enter the author's name in the box under "Display name publicly as"
5. Edit the author's profile once it appears in the list of authors on the right
