How to Make a Payment

Step One: Select your payment method

Within "Make a Payment Process," you can select either "Credit Card" or "Electronic Check" from the drop-down menu. You may use the "Credit Card" option to pay either by debit card or by credit card. Electronic check payments may only be made from personal checking or savings accounts. Corporate checks are not allowed.

Step Two: Specify your payment amount

After selecting your payment type, you can review the current outstanding charges on your account and choose an amount for your payment. Ensure your payment amount is correct and click the "Confirm" button/link.

Step Three: Confirm payment amount

After confirming your payment amount, you must enter your payment information for your debit card, credit card or electronic check. If you are using an Apple product (i.e. iPhone, iMac, etc.) and using the Safari browser, you must disable the prevent cross-site tracking in Settings under the Safari application to continue. Please note that only the Safari browser works on Apple products to make a payment. Once you are ready to continue, click the "Confirm" button/link. You will then be prompted to enter the payment information for either your credit/debit card or electronic check.

Step Four: Complete third-party page

There are two payment options: credit/debit card or electronic check.

  • Credit or debit cards. If you selected "Credit Card" or "Debit Card" as your payment option, enter your card number and click the "Continue" button/link. Next, enter your card expiration date, security code (typically a three-digit number on the front or back of your card) and cardholder name. After completing the Card Information, verify that the Personal Information is correct (payor/cardholder). This automatically populates from the student’s MyNevada account. Once you have entered this information, click the "Continue" button/link.
  • Electronic check. If you selected "Electronic Check" as your payment option, you first need to select either checking or savings account. Next, enter the bank routing number and account number. Remember, only personal checking or savings accounts can be used. Corporate checks are not allowed. After completing the account information, verify that the Personal Information is correct (payor/bank account holder). This automatically populates from the student’s MyNevada account. Once you have completed the required payment information, click the "Continue" button/link.

Step Five: Terms and conditions (Only for Electronic Check payments)

After entering your payment information from Step Four, please read through the terms and conditions pop-up and check the “I have read and agree to the above terms and conditions” box. Once you have checked this box, click the “Agree” button/link.

Step Six: Review your payment

After entering your payment method or accepting the terms and conditions, you will be prompted to review a summary of your payment information. Make sure the information is correct and click the "Submit" button/link to process your payment.

Step Seven: Submit payment

Review payment summary and click “Submit” button/link.

Step Eight: Payment result

After submitting your payment, a green check mark on the screen will indicate your payment has been accepted.

After completing your payment, you need to close the window that you are in to return to your Student Homepage.
