Managing Your Voicemail PIN

Summary

Creating and resetting your PIN for Unified Messaging.

Body

Creating Your PIN

When your account is initially set up for Unified Messaging, a temporary PIN will be sent to your e-mail address, or given to you by a member of the Unified Communications team. When you first access your Unified Messaging account on your telephone, you will be required to change your PIN and record a personal greeting.

Resetting Your PIN

Those on Unified Messaging, but without an @unr.edu e-mail address managed by OIT, should contact the OIT Support Center to have their PIN reset.

To reset your PIN for Unified Messaging:

  1. From any web browser, navigate to https://webvm.unr.edu

  4. If the mailbox has a valid email address associated to it, a confirmation will be sent and the below window will appear. If the mailbox is not UM enabled, a “Contact System Administrator” message will appear, in which case the OIT Support Center will need to assist with resetting the security code.
