What is OMOP?

The OMOP (Observational Medical Outcomes Partnership) Common Data Model (CDM) is a standardized data model designed to enable observational research across large-scale healthcare databases. It standardizes diverse healthcare data sources for easier comparison and analysis, facilitating multi-institutional collaborations.

Purpose

OMOP facilitates the integration of healthcare data from different institutions and sources into a unified schema, enabling comprehensive data analysis, cohort identification, and drug safety studies.
