Microsoft 365 Copilot is an AI-powered tool that enhances productivity within the Microsoft 365 suite. It assists users by summarizing documents, drafting emails, and generating content across various applications like Word, Excel, and Outlook. Microsoft 365 Copilot integrates seamlessly with enterprise data, providing intelligent insights and automating tasks to streamline workflows.

Copilot Chat - Copilot Chat is a web based AI prompt and response experience that's grounded in the web and powered by large language models (LLMs). It is automatically included and available to organizations that have a Microsoft 365 subscription for no additional cost. Copilot chat, while secured behind an enterprise Microsoft login, does not give access to information and files within the tenant such as your emails, OneDrive files, or Teams. Access to that information will require the Microsoft 365 Copilot license listed below.

Eligibility

Students

Students cannot purchase a Microsoft 365 Copilot license on their own via the university's enterprise licensing. If you require a Microsoft 365 Copilot license through the university please contact your associated department as they will need to purchase licenses on your behalf.

University departments purchasing licenses for students can utilize this service.

Faculty and Staff

Eligible for Microsoft 365 Copilot licensing utilizing this service

Affiliates/Contingent Workers

Affiliates/contingent workers of the University are not eligible for Microsoft 365 Copilot licensing.
