Transfer to FYT Request

This form is intended to be used by those that are applying to the University and meet the following criteria: 

• Has already graduated high school and
• Attended another post-secondary institution after graduation but did NOT complete 24 credits

Please note that by completing this form, you are requesting to be considered for admissions based on our Freshman admissions standards and will be required to submit your final high school transcript. 

Once this form is submitted your application type will be changed and you will be required to complete the enrollment steps of a freshman.

Most importantly, with the submission of this form, you will not be eligble to have your admit type changed if more credits are completed before the start of the term in which you are applying. This is to ensure that student's are being given the correct guidance and to streamline the enrollment process.

This form must be completed within 10 days from the day in which you received notice of your application not meeting our transfer credit standards. 

By signing below, you are acknowledging the following:

• You are required to submit your final official high school transcript for evaluation

• Any student admitted as an FYT will have to follow the same enrollment guidelines and timeline for freshman, such as completing Advanced Registration and participating in NevadaFIT and Orientation

• Submitting this request to change your application type from a transfer to an FYT does not guarantee a positive admissions decision

• You have reported all previous schools attended including current enrollments on your original application

• After the submission of this form, regardless of the amount of credits that are completed after this form is submitted and the term that an application was completed for, your admit type will not be changed back to a TRN​​​​​
