You can swap a class in your schedule if you have enrolled in one section and would like to take a different section. This is helpful when a previously closed section becomes available or your schedule needs to change. This option is so you don't have to drop the class section you are already in to try and enroll in the new one.
**Please note: Academic Calendar deadlines apply to class swaps.**
- Click the Enrollment Tile on your MyNEVADA account
- On the left-hand side select Swap Classes
- Your active terms will be available and you will need to select the term
- Next, select a class to swap from the "Select From Your Schedule" drop-down menu (indicated with the red arrow). Then select either the class search option, select from your Shopping Cart or enter the class number if you know it.
Note: You don't have to swap for the same class; you can choose to swap to a different course if needed.
- Review the course information to make sure you selected the correct class to swap for and click Next.

Confirm the class you are swapping for and finish by clicking Finish Swapping.

If the class was successfully swapped, you will see a success message and a green checkmark.
If not, you will see an error message detailing why you were unable to swap for the class.
