The Office of Information Technology's Service Management (ITSM) team ensures IT services meet university academic and business needs. The ITSM team helps build a framework and process around the lifecycle of IT services and knowledge management, and manages the programmatic aspects of change management and software ordering processes.
ITSM services include the following:
- Development and ongoing maintenance of the public OIT Knowledge Base in accordance with web accessibility standards
- Development and ongoing maintenance of the OIT Service Catalog in accordance with ITSM industry best practices
- Providing ticketing and workflow solutions for OIT service owners and consultations to external campus departments
- Collaboration with both the OIT Support Center and UNR Med Support Center, providing necessary tools, system improvements, and reporting metrics
- System administration of TeamDynamix, the University's enterprise service, ticketing, and project management platform
