Add a User to a Networked Printer

This service is for access to medium sized printers networked by OIT.
For access to larger department Canon SecurePrint printers on Pahrah, please refer to our article Canon SecurePrint Requirements for Printing Access.

Click Request Service to request access to a printer on the UNR print server. For security reasons, users are unable to request their own permissions. Instead, OIT advises that a supervisor or department admin assistant complete the request on the user's behalf with the following information: 

  • Who needs access (names and NetIDs)? 
  • The name of the network printer. Visit the Network Printing FAQ for information on how to most easily locate the printer name.
  • The contact information of the person requesting permissions, so that OIT can notify them once permission has been granted.
