Remote Access Pathway Assistance

Remote access can be established for University-owned Windows PCs only. You cannot connect to a Mac via a remote connection.

Have you prepared your office PC for remote access as described in the Preparing Your Work Computer for Access article? If you are working off-campus and/or do not have administrative rights on your office PC, click Request Service and a technician will assist you.

Please be prepared to provide the following information about your office PC:

Physical location of office PC
Permission for unattended access
On-campus users: identifying information of your office computer, such as the serial number/service tag, Hostname, MAC address, IP address

IMPORTANT: Accessing your office PC remotely is a multi-step process. Completing the configuration above does not grant you remote access to your office PC. Once the above setup is complete, you will need to request Office Computer Remote Access.
