Adobe Creative Cloud Access

Adobe Creative Cloud is a set of applications and services (Acrobat, Photoshop, InDesign, etc) that gives subscribers access to a collection of software used for graphic design, video editing, web development, photography, accessible PDF file creation along with a set of mobile applications and also some optional cloud services.

The steps below cover the process of requesting a license and installing the software.

Step 1 - Determine the Type of License You Require

Review the Adobe Creative Cloud Licensing information for a detailed breakdown of the different licenses and what employee roles are eligible for each type of license. Currently, only the following employment roles are eligible for a Named User License:

  • Academic Faculty
  • Administrative Faculty
  • Classified
  • Letter of Appointment
  • Postdoctoral Scholar
  • Medical Resident
  • Hourly – Temporary

If you are not a member of one of these employment roles but have a university-owned desktop computer that is utilized by multiple individuals, a single computer install of Adobe Creative Cloud with a Shared Device License may be available.

If you are not eligible via either of the methods listed above your department can purchase individual Adobe Products or a Creative Cloud license for you via the VIP (Value Incentive Plan). To purchase an Adobe Products via the VIP Program please fill out a Software Quote Request.
