Information Security Training is necessary to ensure that every person affiliated with the University has the same understanding of what information security is and how each piece of information should be handled.

It is imperative that we protect and secure the University's information together since no one person can keep all the information secure alone.

Employees have two different types of training available to them, depending on their needs. The Managed Employee Information Security Training article has information regarding mandatory training that may be assigned to employees to meet certain laws, regulations, or standards. The Optional Information Security Training article has course information for more generalized, non-mandatory employee information security training.
